UrgeWise (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
By using the UrgeWise app or website, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
UrgeWise is an independently developed mobile application for Android, designed to help individuals track and manage body-focused repetitive behaviours (BFRBs).

Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store your password in plain text.

Subscription and billing data
If you subscribe to UrgeWise Pro, your purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Google. We do receive and store the following subscription-related information via RevenueCat, our subscription management platform:
This information is used solely to determine whether your account has an active entitlement to UrgeWise Pro features.
Anonymous usage data
We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics data to help us understand how the app is used and improve the user experience. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to your data is protected by row-level security — meaning only your account can read or write your data.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@urgewise.app and we will respond within 30 days.
You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@urgewise.app with the subject line “Delete my account”.
We will permanently delete your account and all data within 30 days of receiving your request and send a confirmation to your email address once complete.
Please note that cancelling your UrgeWise Pro subscription does not automatically delete your account or data. If you wish to have your data removed, please contact us directly.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days.
Subscription and billing records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and accounting purposes, in accordance with applicable law. These records contain only anonymised transaction identifiers and subscription status — not personal health data.
UrgeWise is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@urgewise.app and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
